The Sink Auger is a valuable and easy to use tool for breaking up and clearing clogs in sinks and tubs. Do not use this tool on toilets, for toilets (also called water closets), use a water closet auger.

The sink auger is also called a "drum auger" or "canister auger" because of its configuration.

How it Works:
This tool consists of a flexible cable with a steel auger bit on the end. The cable is coiled within a drum canister. A thumbscrew locks the cable and as the drum is turned, the cable and auger bit turns also.
