This is a powerful tool that requires respect and eye protection when being used. It shines when being used for cutting paneling or ripping lumber and making crosscuts. Also great for making miter cuts and angled bevel cuts. Typically used for cutting wood, this saw can also cut plastic, metal and masonry with the use of special blades.

Always use eye protection with this tool.

Difficulty: Average
Time Required: NA

Here's How:

  1. Put on your eye protection and ready your cut, making sure the adjustable blade depth is set so the blade is between 1/2" to 1-1/2" below the material to be cut.
  2. Note which side of the cut line you want to make your cut and precisely place the blade where you want to begin.
  3. Put on your eye protection.
  4. Firmly holding the grip, press the power button and with the motor at full RPM, begin your cut.
  5. Apply gentle pressure when making cuts. Never force the blade. The motor and blade do all the work and forcing the cut can bind the saw and create a dangerous situation.
  6. At the end of the cut you will no longer have the material supporting the saw's weight so be ready for this. Once the saw passes fully from the material, the saw blade guide will extend. You may then place the saw down.
